We had a blast tonight! Richard from the Inglewood Toy Museum gave special access exclusively to Stepping Stones tonight and it was a blast! He shown us how a Fun Ho! toy comes to life.
It starts with a special green dirt that comes from Dunedin then molds are cut, and then the melted aluminum is poured.
Once cooled, then it comes in pieces and then holes are drilled for the axils. After this, it is powdercoated (painted) and, through great labour, you have a Fun Ho! toy!.
We had an opportunity to see all the different makes and models, learned the history of the factory, and even seen a kewl video.
Afterwards, we had a devotional on how we came to life. At the end, we thanked Richard for taking the time out of his busy schedule to open up the Inglewood Toy Museum after hours.
We really appreciate it! Looking forward to next term for new and exciting things to do.
